Kelli & Nathan's ceremony was held in German Park in New Ulm near the angel water fountain. Kelli & her mom Tammy, owners of T & K Event Planners and Decorators, designed and created many of the day's elements including Kelli's cascading bouquet of orchids, callas and roses. Sentimental photos adorned the back of the bouquet and a broach belonging to Kelli's Grandmother added sparkle to the bouquet.

The week leading up to the wedding had been rainy and cloudy. Kelli and Nathan were pleased to see the rain clear but it was still a cloudy fall day. As the ceremony ended and it was time to "kiss the bride" the clouds parted and the sun shined down on the couple, creating a perfect & radiant moment before disappearing behind the clouds again.

The cake was a tuxedo cake (chocolate and vanilla layers) with white icing and detailing of lace, flowers and rhinestone accents. The "naked cake" had different colored layers and was then decorated with hand made sugar flowers. Barb of Big Love Fine Cakes did beautiful work on the cakes. Guests also enjoyed a desert bar with mini cheesecakes, cupcakes and Kelli's favorite... frozen yogurt. Each member of the wedding party chose their favorite candy to be included in the candy buffet, this also provided fun toppings for the frozen yogurt.

Kelli & Nathan's reception was held at the Holiday Inn in New Ulm. The ceiling and backdrop were draped in alternating black and white. The backdrop was adorned with strands of crystal to highlight the head table. The couple loves hockey so a pair of blinged out hockey pucks were displayed at their place settings. Guest tables were topped with black sequined overlays, black & white stripe runners, gold chargers and vibrant floral centerpieces.

The bridesmaid dresses were black lace from Sister's Bridal with each bridesmaids wearing a different color pump for a pop of color. The groomsmen wore suits and socks to match their partners pumps and the groom wore black and white striped socks all from J Longs.

The bridesmaids bouquets were a mix of bright colors and their initial hung from the handle in rhinestones. The bridesmaid's black & white striped clutches with matching flower accent were handmade by Kelli's future sister in law.

The ring bearers wore black suits with black and white stripe ties and we hand-made black and white stripe pillows for them to carry. Our flower girl wore an ivory dress with a black and white feather headband.
